Crystal Palace Park
There is a lot packed into the 200 acres of park. Aside from the athletics track and National Sports Centre, there are lakes, heaps of open parkland, an animal farm, a playground, woodland, spectacular water features and 31 incredible Victorian sculptures of prehistoric monsters. There is a great heritage trail to help you get to grips with the park’s impressive history, too.
The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich
Fire a cannon, steer a ship into port and more at the world’s largest maritime museum. Kids can discover 500 years of Britain’s seafaring history in an interactive setting sure to grab their imagination.
