Half term magic for kids as Mole tries to bring the moon down to Earth in Deptford
Which would be more magical to see, a talking mole or the moon being pulled down to Earth?
Families might not get to see this Luna miracle, but they will definitely be able to watch a talking mole do his damndest to make it happen.
As a half term treat, parents can take their youngsters to see theatre show Bringing Down the Moon at The Albany in Deptford.
Children will join Mole as he sets out to play with the moon in this heart-warming tale of aspiration, adventure and mischief.
Based on the delightful book by Jonathan Emmett, the production runs on February 24 at 1pm and 3pm.
Burrowing out of the ground, Mole sees the moon for the very first time and thinks it is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen.
He tries to pull it down but soon realises some things are not as easy as they seem – or as close as they look.
The show will also appear at Canada Water Culture Space on February 22 and February 23.
