Enjoy family fun and raise money for Scotty's Little Soldiers

Pony rides, karaoke, face painting and raffles are taking place in a pub to raise money for children who have lost parents in the war.

The Old Post Office in Eltham is inviting people to come along and have fun at the fundraiser on Saturday, November 17.

Phil Peters, pub landlord, said: “My brother’s in the army and we’ve already raised a lot for Help the Heroes.

“This time we hope to raise £3,000 for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, for kids whose parents died in Afghanistan in the war.

“We want to help the people who helped us.”

The event starts at 12pm and finishes at 11pm.

Admission is free and collections will be taken throughout the day.
