This Christmas promises to be the best ever at Lakeside Shopping Centre. Santa’s free grotto will have a new look and there’s a new outdoor ice rink for all the family. Glide into Christmas
Why not skate into Christmas and treat the kids to a day out at Lakeside’s first ever ice rink? The Lakeside Ice Rink, in partnership with Thurrock Council, will be open from Saturday 28th November until Sunday 3rd January. Also situated in car park 3 by the giant outdoor Christmas tree, a visit to the Lakeside ice rink will really get you in the mood for a festive family Christmas. Meet Santa for Free
Lakeside Shopping Centre’s new Santa’s Grotto will be open from 1st November right up to and including Christmas Eve. This year, children can enjoy the sights, sounds and animations of Santa's Magic Sleigh Workshop as they wait to see Santa. All around the grotto, Santa's elves will be busy in the snow, making the final touches to the sleigh in time for Santa to fly around the world on Christmas Eve. This treat for the kids is also great news for parents as it is free to enter and all children who go along to tell Santa what they want for Christmas receive a free gift. Making Christmas Shopping Easier
To give you even more opportunity to Christmas shop, Lakeside Shopping Centre will be open until 11pm on weekdays from 1st December to 30th December. The doors will also be wide open from 8am to 7pm on Boxing Day ready for you to take advantage of the bargains in the sales. With so many great shops to choose from including House of Fraser, Zara, Debenhams, Disney Store, Marks & Spencer and Game, it could be easy to get carried away and laden down with bags. Don’t worry though, as Lakeside’s free Shop & Drop service is available to lighten your load from 1st to 31st December. You can drop shopping bags securely at the Shop & Drop desk by Next and collect them by car later on from the outside collection point.
Get in the Festive Spirit
If you are looking to celebrate Christmas with friends, but you can’t seem to squeeze time into your social diary, with all that Christmas shopping to do, then you can catch up with friends at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
