It’s quite unusual that a games company’s boast of offering a “unique concept” is actually true, but in the case of Tattoo Mania it really does apply.
The forthcoming title from German publisher HandyGames will really put players in touch with their wild sides, combining body art with Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
Set in a busy tattoo parlour, the game will test players’ dexterity to the max.
Hard-as-nails motorbike riders and biker chicks will come in wanting various parts of their bodies adorned with impressive art.
Using fingers to control a tattoo machine, players will be tasked with drawing and colouring one of 30 designs on each customer who arrives.
Be fast and precise to earn the most cash. Cause too much pain and the reputation of the studio will be in peril.
Markus Kassulke, CEO of HandyGames, said: "A unique atmosphere, fast-paced gameplay and the heavy rock sound will inspire iPhone gamers worldwide.
"At release we will offer an international online high score to identify the best tattoo masters in the world. Updates with new tattoos, more rock sound and a tattoo editor are already planned."
The game is due out at the beginning of September.
