There’s something fishy about the latest addition to eating out options in Petts Wood.
Opening its doors last month, SeShell is a contemporary fish and seafood restaurant and promises a relaxed and informal place to eat with excellent food and wine.
Owner Joe Maz, formerly proprietor of Café Maz, has been overwhelmed with the response and loyalty shown by the locals since his new venture opened for business.
Seafood lovers can enjoy the simplicity of the dishes from the extensive menu, including lobster thermidor, halibut with white wine and lemon, skate in butter and caper sauce and sea bass finocchio as well as the traditional fish and chips.
Those looking for something other than fish have also been catered for with choices such as steak, chicken or pasta.
All meals are made with fresh ingredients, sourced daily, to ensure every plate is full of good quality tasty food.
The décor is simple, clean and stylish with a contemporary feel.
Wines on offer have been specifically selected to complement and enhance the food and, of course, will work particularly well with fish.
SeShell prides itself on being a warm and friendly family-run restaurant and children are always welcome with a separate menu provided for children under 12.
A lunch menu is also available Tuesday to Sunday from 11.45am to 2.30pm offering two courses for just £11.95.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30 to 10.45pm and Sunday from 11.45am to 4pm for dinner.
