Bromley officially welcomed a clutch of new restaurants with a weekend packed with family entertainment.

Intu Bromley’s Everyone’s Invited event on Saturday and Sunday included cabaret from Beckenham Comedy, live music and dance performances, face painting, inflatable ten pin bowling, free mocktails, lookalike celebrity chefs and the painting of a David Bowie mural among its fun.

The weekend’s activities marked the opening of its new restaurant terrace, which sits between the High Street and Queen’s Garden.

Now open in the terrace are Wagamama, Bryon, Giraffe, Ed’s Easy Diner and newcomer Project Pie (pictured).

The latter is a successful US brand that has been brought to the UK by Bromley-raised Susan Canavan. Project Pie’s first UK restaurant in Dundee is an award winner.

From today (July 4), intu Bromley will be open until 7pm daily (except Thursdays when it will still be open until 9pm). Parking will costs £1 from 6pm to midnight, except Thursdays.
