Deptford Market Yard is soon to welcome two new street food vendors.

The newest foodie heaven in Deptford is nestled within the renovated historical railway arches adjacent to Deptford station, so it’s perfect for a casual pop in.

This June will see Spanish restaurant and wine bar ‘The Tapas Room’ and American-inspired street food brand ‘Hanks’, join the Market Yard clan.

From the owners of the acclaimed Pop Brixton restaurant and street-food van ‘Donostia Social Club’ comes the second site for ‘The Tapas Room’, opening June 7.

A wine shop, tapas bar and a delicatessen with focus on knowledge, thorough sourcing and great ingredients.

‘Hanks’ will open on June 16 in its first permanent home and they will be selling a selection of aged beef patties and signature Cajun fries, as well as hand-picked, locally

produced craft beers and soft drinks.

The owners of ‘Hanks’ sold their first sandwich in 2014 and since then, Victoria Thake and Simon Drake have traded as some of London’s best markets.

Visitors to Deptford Market Yard will have regular events to look forward to, such as ‘Wine tasting Wednesday’s’ at The Tapas Room and ‘Taco Tuesdays’ at Hank’s.

The market is open seven days a week, but check each store for opening times. http://www.deptfordmarketyard.com/
