A pop-up food festival is coming to Orpington this weekend.

The Eats from the Streets festival will showcase different food from around the globe and is being put held at the Nugent retail park in Cray Avenue.

Chefs will be selling their wares around Pizza 1889 between 11am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday (August 19 and 20).

Visitors will be able to tuck into their food on a converted double-decker Routemaster bus, which has been transformed into a dining area.

Tina Powley, centre manager, said: “The Eats from the Streets concept was borne out of the pop-up festival and street food trends. As the popularity of both show no sign of slowing, it’s no surprise that we’re hosting the event again this year.

“We’ve really enjoyed bringing new and exciting foods from across the globe to shoppers’ doorsteps, and this year’s event is shaping up to be even bigger and better – with more stalls and more flavours on offer.

“It’s great to be able to support local traders alongside our national retailers.”

Vendors confirmed include Wilma’s Cupcakery (cupcakes and cake-topped milkshakes), BOOQA (Vietnamese noodles), Odori & Sapori (traditional Italian pizza), Kuzinaki (Greek food), Mama’s Donuts (donuts with gourmet toppings), Wanna Pull (pulled meat sandwiches), Barbacoa (Caribbean barbeque food) and We R Fizz (prosecco and Peroni).
