Fans of the famous KFC fried chicken in south London can now have it delivered straight to their door.

The American fast food giant is now part of the Just Eat platform, meaning it can now be ordered for delivery through the Just Eat app and website.

Thirty KFC restaurants in Greater London have been included in the original rollout, with more to be included this year.

This includes KFCs in Thamesmead, Bexleyheath, Welling, Woolwich, Erith, Deptford, Bromley, Greenwich and Eltham.

Graham Corfield, UK managing director at Just Eat, said: "We're thrilled to welcome KFC to the Just Eat platform, offering our customers in London an even wider choice of food than ever before.

"We're adding KFC restaurants every week, meaning more customers will be able to enjoy KFC's world famous chicken at the click of a button in their area very soon."

Recent figures show home deliveries of ready-to-eat food grew 10 times faster than the eating out market last year.

The delivery sector jumped almost 10% to 599 million visits in Britain last year, while total visits out to restaurants and other dining venues rose by just 1%, according to analysts NPD Group.
