As anyone who has paid it a visit knows, Greenwich Market has established itself as a street food destination.

And now you can recreate its delicious dishes at home.

The Greenwich Market Cookbook has been published to mark the completion of its recent enhancement works, which include a new roof, re-laid flooring and the opening of the Fry’s Court food area.

Recipes from traders include:

  • Return to Shashamane’s Chickpea Salad with Tomato Sauce and Wakame Seaweed
  • Mogul’s Onion Bhaji
  • Teriyaki-Ya Jay's Spicy Sea Bass
  • Hungry Payaso’s Burrito Pabellon
  • Thai Kitchen’ Chicken & Cashew Nut Stir Fry
  • Buenos Aires Café’s Chimichurri
  • Red Door Café’s Scones
  • Black Vanilla’s Bacio (chocolate hazelnut ice-cream)
  • Lilika's Treats’s Raspberry & Vanilla Cheesecake
  • Fromage + Champagne’s Fondants au Chocolat
  • Arapina’s Blackberry Lavender Raw Cake

Guardian columnist, cookbook writer and Greenwich local Rebecca Seal has written the book’s introduction while photographs were handled by award-winning photographer Colin Hampden-White, whose work has appeared in the likes of Conde Nast and The Times.
