Greenwich brewer Meantime’s BrewFest is back, and this year they’re bringing their friends.

The three day celebration at Greenwich Peninsula from August 29 to 31 will see 180 craft beers from around the world available plus, for the first time, crafts produce from local artists and craftsmen from street food to luxury gelato and live music.

Visitors looking to sample the beer can buy tickets on Billetto or on the door and if you don’t want the booze then you can come along for free.

Meantime’s beer sommeliers will conduct tastings and recommend beer and food pairings while those looking to experiment further can try a bespoke beer cocktail. Meantime’s Beer Box will be next door offering brewery fresh lager and a virtual reality headset can offer fans a 3D virtual brewery tour.

Meantime’s marketing director Richard Myers said: “The idea behind BrewFest and Friends is one born out of a passion for high quality ‘craft’ products and the close ties we have with other local producers, largely from our hometown of Greenwich.

“We think BrewFest and Friends presents us with the perfect opportunity to showcase and celebrate some fine local artisan products and producers that we know our new and existing BrewFest fans will enjoy alongside the main attraction - the beer.”

Brewfest and Friends is at Greenwich Peninsula from 11am to 10pm on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, and from 11am to 7pm on Monday, August 31.

Tickets cost £20 in advance or £25 on the day including entry, five tokens for a third of a pint each, a glass, a wristband and a programme. Additional vouchers can be purchased on-site. Go to meantimebrewing.com
