A newly-opened restaurant and shisha bar in New Cross is seeking local artists to exhibit on its walls.
KarriTwist opened in New Cross Road this month serving Indian food’ and non-tobacco shisha.
Owner Shrina Begum said: “The restaurant is a very modern take on Indian food, actually serving up regional dishes that are not ordinarily found on the high street.
“We have Indian street food on our menu and we do a our own twist on golden favourites.”
As well as good food, Shrina wants the restaurant to offer more to diners.
She said: “We are striving to offer something more than just a Karri night for our patrons, we want them to engage and be part of the experience.
“We have deliberately left our walls blank white, so that we may invite local students and artists to exhibit their work upon our walls, ideally upon a monthly rotation, so that our diners are enriched with the vibrancy of the wonderful local art scene.”
