Breakfasting in Bexley is now much easier thanks to a new home delivery service for lazy weekends.

Bukky Alabi, owner of ‘fancy’ food company Got Breakfast, wants to help people recover from a busy week without missing the most important meal of the day.

The 27-year-old left her job at a TV production company for the business, based on Slade Green Road, which launched on May 2.

Miss Alabi said: "This is all born from passion.

"We are the first breakfast home delivery company in the Bexley area.

"I have put everything into this company.

"It’s only new, but it’s been amazing.

"We were a bit sceptical and wary.

"The first weekend we launched, we had orders flying out of the roof and it’s been busy ever since."

Miss Alabi, who employs a chef and a delivery driver, is currently averaging 40 orders per weekend and feels her unique business attracts hard workers, like herself.

She said: "I was working Monday to Friday, very tired at weekends, and I was craving breakfast.

"I wished there would be a breakfast delivery company. That’s how it birthed.

"People have worked so hard and just want to relax at home.

"Breakfast is the most important part of the day. It’s where you get energy.
