Starbucks has opened a new store in Orpington creating 12 new jobs.
The global coffee chain opened the outlet along Orpington High Street.
Throwing open its doors this morning (February 9), the new branch replaced JD Sports.
Taking around eight weeks to refurbish Fazan Tahir, owner of FT Coffee, is the new proprietor of the franchise.
Mr Tahir said: "We’re very excited to be opening our first Starbucks store in Orpington.
"We look forward to welcoming local customers."
The shop's chosen charity is the Maypole Project, also based along the High Street, which supports children with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.
What are your thoughts? Does Orpington need another coffee shop?
