Animal rights protesters lay naked in Trafalgar Square yesterday to mark World Vegan Day.
Around 100 PETA supporters were nearly nude in a heap, covered in 'blood', to encourage compassion in passers-by for the animals and fish slaughtered for food.
Londoner Anna Buraya, 24, was among the protesters. The part time sales assistant and model said: “I am happy to use my body to challenge people to think about the massive toll that the meat industry takes on animals, the Earth and human health – and to go vegan.”
