Former Bexley resident and friend of the paper, Sir Roger Moore is the most destructive James Bond ever, causing £4.6 BILLION of damage as 007 and leaving more than just his vodka-martini shaken.

With Spectre released this week, insurance firm More Th>n painstakingly documented all of the damage caused in the 24 official Bond film, including Spectre.

Their experts totted up the damage from everything from £3 smashed ashtrays and £25 stolen shirts all the way up to buildings, artefacts and even a space station.

In fact, it’s the latter that sent Moore’s bill into the stratosphere. The most destructive Bond movie was 1979’s Moonraker in which Bond has a hand in the obliteration of five space shuttles and an entire space station. They account for £4.1 billion between them.

By comparison, Daniel Craig has amassed a mere £449 million-worth of carnage and languishes fourth on the list.

Over the years, Bond has been responsible £8 billion of damage – almost as much as the entire GDP of Jamaica, where Ian Fleming lived and wrote the books.
