Dark skies loomed over Investec’s famous Epsom Derby, but luckily the well-dressed racegoers were there to add a bit of brightness to the big event.

Hundreds of elegant women braced the cold on Friday (June 3) and bravely wore their finest dresses on glamorous Ladies Day – whilst the Queen led the fashion pack on Saturday for Derby Day.

Actresses, sporting legends and the royals were among the best dressed socialites watching Britain’s richest horse race, which has a £1.5m prize fund, whilst gents donned top hats and tails in the Queen’s Stand.

Some 1,000 people sipped champagne, placed bets and enjoyed the two-day festival of racing.

Here is our selection of the best fashion of the field throughout the weekend. Can you spot yourself?
