Garry Bushell - Sidcup
Garry Bushell is known for being an outspoken and at times controversial television critic, presenter and newspaper columnist.
He was born and raised in south-east London, and currently lives in Sidcup.
He started out as a writer for the left-wing newspaper Socialist Worker in the 1970s, before going on to be a music journalist covering the punk genre.
He started with The Sun in 1985, going on to become famous for his Bushell On the Box column.
In the mid-1990s he hosted a TV version of Bushell On The Box.
He has also written several books, and in 2005 he stood as a candidate for the English Democrats Party in the general election in the Greenwich and Woolwich constituency.
