Nick Heyward - Beckenham
Beckenham-born Nick Heyward fronted successful punk-pop band Haircut 100.
The group were formed in Beckenham in 1980 and their perky pop sound made them one of the most popular new wave groups.
Haircut 100 enjoyed chart success with Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl) and Love Plus One before Heyward left in 1983 to pursue a solo career.
Heyward's solo successes have included Whistle Down the Wind and Take That Situation.
