Andy Fordham - Charlton
Andy 'The Viking' Fordham finally became darts world champion in 2004.
Despite his list of honours, including the World Masters, Swiss Open, Finish Open, Norwegian Open, Isle of Man Open, Welsh Open, Campon Open (Holland) and Portland Open, the world title had proved elusive to Fordham.
He had lost four world championship semi-finals before finally landing the big one at Lakeside this year.
Fordham grew up in Charlton and attended Charlton Manor Primary School and Eaglesfield Secondary School.
Fordham is the publican of The Rose, in Dartford - previously at the Queen's Arms in Plumstead.
