The Beckenham-born comic became a comedy legend.
Born in 1928, the well-loved comic and actor started his career while still at school at Dulwich College but kept strong ties to the borough of Bromley.
Monkhouse was probably best known as a host of popular TV game shows including Celebrity Squares and Family Fortunes.
He died in December 2003 aged 75.
