GLAMOROUS gowns from Hollywood blockbusters will be among the attractions at a crafts show at Bluewater.

Prima Homemade – The Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Show will occupy the shopping centre’s Glow venue from September 6 to September 9 with 125 exhibitions, including a market place, talks, demonstrations and expert advice.

The star attraction will be a showcase of masquerade ball costumes, demonstrating the glitz and glamour of the silver screen.

They include a gown worn by Drew Barrymore in Ever After, designed by Oscar-winning British dressmaker Jenny Beavan, and one worn by Minnie Driver in the 2004 adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, designed by Alexandra Byrne.

Jenny Beavan also designed a dress on show that was worn by Sienna Miller in the 2005 Heath Ledger film, Casanova.

The Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts Show runs from September 6 to September 9, from 10am to 4.30pm, or Saturday 9.30am to 5pm.

Tickets are £8 for adults, or £6 ordered before Monday, September 3, and £7 for seniors, or £5 in advance.

Under 16s are free if accompanied by an adult, or £3 otherwise.
