An arty cat lady is inviting animal lovers to view a gallery of kitty creations and raise money for a good cause.

Pat Mear is holding an exhibition of more than 50 framed felines at Beckenham Library to collect desperately needed cash for Bromley Cats Protection.

She said: “This latest exhibition is of inexpensive framed prints and includes a selection of many of my own fine line Indian ink drawings, as well as photographs by other artists.

“I curated a smaller exhibition in Ashburton Library, Croydon to raise funds for the Croydon Cats Protection branch and it was very popular, raising over £150.”

Pat’s exhibition runs from April 3 to April 28 at the Beckenham Road venue which is open from 9.30am to 6pm on Monday and Tuesday, 9.30am to 8pm on Wednesday and Friday and from 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday.
