AS THE curtain closes on those dark winter nights, Greenwich borough-based music and dance college Trinity Laban present a season of musical spring treats.

Appearing in venues around the capital, upcoming highlights include the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra lead by renowned conductor Michael Stern and Trinity Jazz ensembles performing at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s in London's West End.

From contemporary to classical to baroque, from jazz to musical theatre, and with many events free, there is something for every taste and purse.

The season kicked off today with the Solstice Quartet performing a selection of evocative classical pieces by Mozart and Beethoven in a free lunchtime concert and Thursday will see acclaimed clarinettist Michael Collins direct the Trinity Laban Wind Orchestra in a concert entitled Chillout in Winelands at Blackheath Halls.
