FANS who have paid to see Michael Jackson at the O2 will be able to get a full refund or their ticket, it has been announced today (June 30).

The singer died on June 25 just weeks before the King of Pop was due to start a series of 50 sold out shows at the venue.

Anyone who bought a ticket directly from the venue in north Greenwich or authorised ticket agencies will be able to get all their money back, including the service charges.

But concert promoter AEG Live (UK) Ltd has announced fans will also have the option to be sent the actual tickets they would have received to attend the This Is It shows instead of a refund.

The tickets printed with the special lenticular process, were inspired and designed by Michael Jackson for the fans attending his shows.

Images of the specially created tickets may be seen on michaeljacksonlive.com from tomorrow.

The offer to receive a ticket rather than a refund expires at 11.59pm on August 14.

AEG Live’s chief executive and president Randy Phillips said: “The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known.

"Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death."
