SIR Elton John will not be replaced as the headliner at British Summer Time at Hyde Park on Friday, but the show will go on for free.

Ticketholders will get a refund after Sir Elton had to pull out with appendicitis.

Former Kinks front man Ray Davies, Elvis Costello, Gabrielle Aplin and Nick Lowe will all perform on the main stage, and the show will now be free.

Existing ticketholders will get automatically get a refund within seven days and they can bring their existing tickets along to get in on Friday. Go to bst-hdyepark.com for free tickets on a first come, first served basis until the show is at capacity.
