COMEDY, poetry, music and good food will be used to help raise money for a Lewisham community project for young people.
No Ball Games Allowed will hold a fundraiser at Mekan Restaurant and Lounge in Bromley Road on Thursday, June 27, featuring rap duo Camouflage Children, BBC 3 Poetry Slam champion Kat Francois, acoustic comedians Cold Callers and musicians Thaile and Saint.
Lewisham comedienne and playwright Angie LeMar is a guest speaker at the event which aims to make £5,000 for 6 Sense 13 – a school holidays project for young people affected directly and indirectly by mental health.
