A NEW Cross DJ duo are making waves in the Lewisham pub scene.
Jo Hogan and Helen Flannery decided to form a musical partnership – The Old Kent Roadies - just over a year ago and have been spinning tunes in nearby pubs ever since.
They specialise in an eclectic mix of party tunes ranging from 60s and Motown to electro, punk and reggae.
Their usual haunts include the New Cross Inn and The Amersham Arms.
The duo’s next on April 4 gig includes a collaberation with DJ Fireboy and will cover hits from the 60s to the present. Indie Rock and Roll will take place at The Amersham Arms in New Cross Road between 8.30pm and 1am.
