What is Check Out?
Check Out is News Shopper's new product reviews section.
What is the point of Check Out?
Money is tight for most people these days and it's important to make the right decisions about what to buy. We hope this builds into a useful online resource for people to use before choosing products to purchase.
Who will be writing the reviews?
Some of the reviews will be written by us based on things we've bought or been sent here at Shopper HQ. But we want the rest of the reviews to come from consumers, people like YOU.
What products can I review?
Anything and everything you buy from a shop or online. From hi-tech electrical items and gadgets to household goods and everyday products from the supermarket - buy it, then try it and review it.
What should I include in my review?
Start with the basics - what is the product, what does it do and why did you buy that particular item? Then discuss the good and bad points of your product. How much did you pay for it and was this good value? Finish your review by stating whether you could recommend the product to other people.
How should I rate each product?
Give each product a score from 1 to 5 based on 1 being a waste of money and 5 being a great buy.
How do I submit a review?
You can write your reviews - maximum length of 200 words - and email it by clicking here. Make sure you include your name and location.
You can also film a short video review to talk about your product and show it in action. Then email it
Alternatively fill in the form below and click Send.
Where do I read reviews?
To browse the reviews we've already been sent click here - you can add your comments to each one if you've tried the same product, or send your own review of a different product. As the Check Out section builds we will split the reviews into different product categories.
