IT was a sparkling Valentine’s Day for one lucky woman who won a diamond necklace in a News Shopper competition.
Gill Wilkinson won the 14ct white gold necklace with eight diamonds from jeweller F Hinds in the Walnuts Shopping Centre in Orpington High Street.
The 46-year-old, who lives in Millstone Close in South Darenth, won the News Shopper competition by successfully answering the question ‘Which saint is Valentine’s Day named after?’ She collected the necklace on Saturday, and said: “This is a great surprise that still hasn’t quite sunk in.
“I will treasure the necklace forever. Thank you to F Hinds and the News Shopper for making my Valentine’s Day.”
