EVERY day is Sports Day at The Hop Farm Family Park in Kent this summer.
From August 1 to August 31, visitors can participate in traditional school sports such as the egg and spoon race, the sack race and welly wanging for some good old-fashioned summer fun designed to tire everyone out.
Peter Bull, owner of The Hop Farm Family Park, said: “School sports days are under attack across the UK, with many schools cancelling them for all sorts of weird and wonderful reasons.
“We know a day running around is just what kids, and their parents, need in the summer holidays.”
Throughout the day The Hop Farm Family Park’s Sports Matrons will have their whistles at the ready, rounding up kids for races and awarding rosettes to the winners and losers.
Competitive dads aren’t forgotten as they are invited to join in the fun with the three-legged race.
Activities include party dances, egg and spoon, sack and wheelbarrow races, events for mums and dads, tug of war and a variety of fun ball games.
Prizes will also be given to children dressed as their sporting heroes.
Two new attractions will also hit The Hop Farm this summer.
The Dinosaur Crazy Maze offers children the chance to be explorers for the day and search for life-size dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes including Tyrannosaurus Rex and Stegosaurus.
Families will also love the new Treasure Beach — a huge sandpit filled with oodles of treasure just waiting to be discovered by plucky pirates.
The Hop Farm Family Park is open all year round, with more indoor and outdoor activities than ever before.
