OUTSPOKEN politician and Strictly Come Dancing star Ann Widdecombe will be swapping the dancefloor for the stage this Christmas as she makes her panto debut at The Orchard in Dartford.

Widdecombe shocked and delighted viewers of last year's hit BBC show with her outrageous dance routines and she is set to surprise audiences again as she is reunited with Strictly judge and arch-nemesis Craig Revel Horwood for festive show Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Starring as servant Widdy in Waiting to Craig's Wicked Queen, the former government minister is expected to recreate the pair's bitchy banter which made millions tune in to see her dance every Saturday night.

Revel Horwood persuaded Widdecombe to join him in panto after they danced together and received standing ovations in the Strictly live tour.

She said: “I can hardly believe all the wonderful opportunities which have opened up through Strictly Come Dancing.

"Craig and I have had enormous fun on the tour of the show and I am sure we can make that fun infectious during the run of Snow White.”
