Pop princess Pixie Lott speaks about never being in love and why being single makes her sparkle.

PIXIE Lott feels sexier when she’s single as it makes her shine, but it’s difficult for the Mama Do singer to judge as she’s never been in a long-term relationship.

The former Chislehurst schoolgirl admits she’s also never been in love.

She said: “I always feel at my best when I’m with my friends and we’re all going out and having fun.”

Despite being happily single, Pixie’s keen to date and is up for a laugh.

She said: “I’m definitely open to dating.

“I love sitting around and talking about it with my girlfriends afterwards. That’s the best part.

“I think I’m a nice girlfriend. I’m pretty easy-going. I wouldn’t be one of those naggy ones. I’d just be laid-back.”

Regardless of attracting her fair share of male attention, Pixie’s not keen on being the object of desire for too many men.

“I’ve had two men fight over me before, but it wasn’t that great. In fact, it was a bit awkward,” she laughs.

Commenting on her confidence, she reveals she doesn’t get nervous about anything and is perfectly at home when she’s on stage performing.

She said: “I get so excited before I go on stage, I jump around and I go crazy.

“I’m definitely at my most comfortable and confident on stage because I absolutely love it.”

Speaking about living at home with her parents, Pixie is feeling the draw of the US.

She said: “I officially share a room with my sister, but she’s always at her boyfriend’s house so she’s never at home.

“I do want to get my own flat, although I’d want to live with a friend, otherwise I’d be scared at night time.

“I would definitely like to move to LA for a few years.

“Everyone in LA is so friendly, happy and smiley, which I love, but then everyone’s like, ‘It’s not genuine you know’.

“But I just like to have friendly people around.”

Speaking to Cosmopolitan for its Sexy issue, Pixie believes sexiness is all about being comfortable in your own skin.

“Sexiness is the way you feel.

“If you’re happy in your skin, confident and enjoying life with your friends then it definitely shines through.

“People automatically think you’re sexy when they see that.

“It’s like when there’s a guy who’s not even fantastically good-looking, but he’s got all this charisma — he gives off a vibe, and becomes much better-looking because of it.”
