BEXLEY: School pupil bags leading role in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in Southend

A YOUNGSTER from Bexley has been chosen from 200 hopefuls to play the part of Lucy in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the Palace Theatre, Southend.

The musical version of C S Lewis' classic children's story will be running over the festive period and Emelye Moulton will be performing two shows every other day between December 11 and January 3.

Emelye is a year seven pupil at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School and heard about the audition through All the Arts Theatre School, run by Lucy Morgans, whose Bexley Village class she attends weekly.
