COMPETITION: Win R&B Anthems: 1979-2009 compilation albums

News Shopper has three copies of the compilation album R&B Anthems: 1979-2009 to give away.

The triple CD set includes many of the biggest R&B hits from the past 30 years.

Among the diverse collection are Mark Morrison's Return of the Mac, TLC's No Scrubs, Luther Vandross's Never Too Much, Fugees' Fu-Gee-La, Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise, Gnarls Barkely's Crazy and Christina Aguilera's Beautiful.

There are also classic R&B songs from further back in time, forgotten gems rarely seen on modern compilations - think Terence Trent D’Arby's Sign Your Name, En Vogue's My Lovin (You’re Never Gonna Get It), Brandy feat Monica with Boy Is Mine and Aaliyah's More Than A Woman.

The collection features 12 UK number ones.

CD1 starts with a round-up of the best of the current and recent crop of R&B like Chipmunk's Diamond Rings, Justin Timberlake’s Rock Your Body, Outkast's Hey Ya, Alicia Keys' No One, Estelle's American Boy, Jordin Sparks' Battle Field and Flo Rida's Right Round.

CD2 continues the journey into the radio and dancefloor smashes of the 90s with Whitney’s My Love Is Your Love, R Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly and Jay Z's Hard Knock Life.

CD3 takes the listener back in time with some old school hits including Rose Royce's Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, Sister Sledge's We Are Family and McFadden & Whitehead's Aint No Stoppin Us Now.

There is some 80s soul from Slave's Just A Touch of Love, Joyce Simms' Come Into My Life and Prince’s Kiss.

The early 90s is represented by Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby and Summertime from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
