Your Move in Dartford will be helping to raise funds at the annual summer fete for Fleetdown Primary School Home School Association (HSA) on Saturday, June 15, from 11am until 3pm.

Shalene Self, treasurer of HSA, said: “Our school is one of very few in the country which has a dedicated department for Hearing Impaired children with severe to profound hearing loss.

“Money raised at the event will be used to provide a sensory garden to help with the education of not only our hearing impaired pupils but all pupils of the school, which the whole school will benefit from immensely.

“We are also hoping to update some playtime equipment suitable for a range of age groups. “Our summer fete is a fantastic event, and this year in our arena we have Fleetdown signing choir, singing, dancing and gymnastic displays.

“This year, we have the great opportunity to work with Your Move Dartford who are sponsoring our events and helping us raise the funds for the sensory garden and play equipment.”

Tracey Lowe, branch manager of Your Move in Dartford, said: “We are so pleased to contribute to this wonderful cause and hope that everyone will come along, have some fun with the family and raise the funds for their sensory garden.”
