Good deals can still be made
THE current climate in the property market spells good news for homebuyers, despite recent reports.
According to one of the UK's leading housebuilders, Persimmon Homes, there are still good deals available making the present market ideal for house hunters.
With current house prices lower than average, Suzanne Irons from the housebuilders said there are still competitive mortgage deals on the market.
Suzanne said: "Contrary to reports, there are still attractive mortgage deals available, however you do need to move quickly to get them.
"This coupled with the fact the Bank of England has reduced the interest rate by 0.25 per cent to five per cent, should come as a sigh of relief for anyone considering buying for the first time or those looking to make the next move up the property ladder."
She added: "A low, stable, interest rate, extremely competitively priced properties and developers that want to sell, means now is clearly a buyers market."
