The Financial Times House Price Index for March has
indicated house prices are static rather than falling.
Figures for last month show no change in the average price of a UK property, which differs from Halifax's index which claims prices were down by 2.5 per cent.
This is the fourth time in five months the index has shown little or no change.
The index by The Financial Times is not alone in its
results. The Land Registry figures for February showed no change in prices across England and Wales.
