SATURDAY is not just Boxing Day, it is also the start of the Ramblers Association’s annual winter walks festival which runs until January 3.
More than 800 walks are taking place across the country with 240 in the South East.
The festival is supported by television presenter Ben Fogle who said: “Walking is a perfect way to escape and unwind after a hectic Christmas.”
