A MENTAL health trust has agreed to plant a tree for every completed questionnaire it receives back from this year’s patient survey.
More than 1,000 copies of the questionnaire have been sent to a random selection of Bromley residents who have recently received treatment from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
Medical director at the trust Dr Martin Baggaley said: “We wanted to give people an extra reason to fill the survey in.
“We plan to plant one tree for every person who completes the survey.
“We will be working with local councils to plant trees in public places, such as parks as well as at our hospital and community sites.”
Patients have until June 18 to fill in their Care Quality Commission questionnaires.
