CYCLISTS are being encouraged to get “back on their bikes” during Bike Week.
On June 14 experienced cyclists will help lead a ride through quiet roads from Orpington railway station to Crystal Palace Park cafe and back again.
The ride begins at 10am and returns from Crystal Palace at around 2pm. Cyclists can join in at either end.
Then, a week later on June 20, the Great De-Stabiliser Challenge will help youngsters learn to ride without stabilisers in Norman Park, Hayes between 10am and 2pm.
Co-ordinator of Bromley Cyclists Charles Potter said: “Many families are looking for easy ways to get more out of life, particularly during these difficult financial times.
“We hope that people will use Bike Week as the perfect opportunity to get back on their bikes and connect with people around the borough of Bromley.”
