A SERIES of free horticultural workshops will teach residents how to plant hanging baskets.
The first two-hour workshop will be held on Saturday (May 30) at the Spitfire Youth Centre at Biggin Hill Recreation Ground in Church Road, Biggin Hill, from 2pm.
A training session will then take place at Penge Recreation Ground in Penge on June 6 at the same time.
And then on June 7 a workshop will welcome visitors to Sandway Park in St Mary Cray from 2pm.
The sessions have been sponsored by three housing associations, Broomleigh, Riverside and Hyde, and will encourage residents to enter the borough-wide gardening competition, Beautiful Bromley.
Parks Partnerships Officer Penny Read said: “Residents will be able to plant up their own seasonal hanging baskets and take the hanging baskets home with them.”
