FLOWERING gardens, usually kept hidden from view, will be opened to the public later this month.

The Harris HospisCare with St Christopher’s charity will hold its Open Gardens event on May 31 at Cottage Farm in Cacket’s Lane, Cudham.

It will provide a rare opportunity for the public to explore the secrets of the gardens not usually open to visitors.

Tickets cost £4.50 and children under 14 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

The open day runs from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

All the proceeds to go to the Orpington-based charity which helps to look after people with terminal illnesses.
