People can take part in a survey to find out what crawls, hops, flutters and flies in their gardens this summer.
Make Your Nature Count, invites people to count the number of birds and other types of wildlife found in their gardens for one hour during the week of June 8 to June 14 and to record the highest number of species they see at anyone time during that hour.
The survey has been set up by the RSPB to give people a better idea about the types of wildlife that visits their gardens during the summer months.
A recording form can be downloaded by logging on to the RSPB web site at rspb.org.uk/naturecount.
People can then submit their results online and give feedback about the types of birds visiting their gardens.
