BORIS Johnson, has mooted a new scheme which will allow cyclists to legally turn left at red lights in London in a bid to reduce road deaths.
The Mayor of London has written to the Department for Transport outlining a plan aiming to allow cyclists to negotiate junctions ahead of vehicles, after four cyclists have been killed on London's roads this year.
Cyclists can currently be handed a £30 fine for running red lights.
