OFFICERS from the police, council and a housing association descended on a residential estate to give it a good clean.
Around 25 people including from Bromley Council’s graffiti and abandoned vehicle teams spent a day in the Ramsden Estate, Orpington.
They cleaned off graffiti and cleared up fly-tipped rubbish.
One of the organisers, the council’s anti-social behaviour co-ordinator, Peter Sibley, said: “It’s about improving the quality of life of the people who live here.
“It’s important to engage with the residents, we were handing out leaflets about what we were doing.”
