THREE architecture students have won awards for their green designs.
The University of Greenwich students won prizes at the Make Awards on June 20 in London.
Student Vladimir Berezouskiv, 21, was named winner of the undergraduate section.
His design was for a group of residential, educational and public buildings with allotments, roof gardens, wind turbines and solar panels.
Beating five other London finalists, Vladimir scooped the top prize of £500.
Eltham resident Mr Berezouskiv said: "I am very proud to win the award after a lot of sleepless nights while working on my final year project."
The awards were run by Make, an architecture and design studio.
Derek Draper, 24, a final year student from Shrewsbury, won a commendation for his proposal for reading areas in Oxford Street.
In the postgraduate category, Hannah Chalmer-Stevens, 30, from Dagenham, was awarded a commendation for designing a wave and wind farm off the coast of Dorset.
