THIS year's Green Chain Walking Festival will feature more than a dozen great walks for people of all ages and abilities.
The annual festival will take place from September 13 to September 24 in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark, with free events for everyone.
These include woodland rambles, park walks, architecture trails, heritage talks, as well as an evening bat walk.
All walks are circular and can be reached by public transport.
The Green Chain runs from Crystal Palace to Erith and the Thames Barrier to Chislehurst, with 40 miles of footpaths linking 300 open spaces in south-east London.
