A new green business support service for London has been launched to help businesses save money while reducing their impact on the environment by taking advantage of the whole range of environmental support services available.
The London Environmental Support Service (LESS) website (www.less-online.com) provides a one-stop-shop for businesses to access a network of environmental support providers in London, whilst also offering an online platform for providers and businesses to share knowledge, skills and experiences.
LESS is raising awareness amongst London's business community of the number of ways they can minimise waste at every stage of the business process, comply more easily with legislation, and manage resources more efficiently - improving profits and reputation while reducing their impact on the environment. It is also building up a pool of quality-assured providers for businesses to use.
LESS is being run by Atkins on behalf of the London Development Agency (LDA). Sectors we will be focusing on include Construction, Food and Drink, Hotels, Offices and buildings, Industrial estates and Retail but all businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this new service.
